I want to run an HP-UX Xwindows session from my HP-UX box inside my Gentoo X system. What do I have to do to accomplish that?
Thanx. |

I don't have xnest, what package do I have to emerge to get it. I did a emerge -s xnest with no luck.
Is there any config on the HPUX box I have to do to allow the xsession in once I get the above figured out.
Thanks |

You do have Xnest, it comes with xfree86. All you have to do is remember it's Xnest and not xnest - caps sensitive. |

When I do a Xnest -query hostname, I get the following:
Fatal Server Error:
Server is already active for display 0
I am running this from terminal window.
Thanks |

Try this:
Code: | Xnest -query hostname :1 |
The :1 tells it to run on the 2nd X display as opposed to the 1st (:0) |
