I unplugged the battery on my hp laptop for replacing silicone grease, after that the battery status become unknown, everything was fine before that.

I started seeing this too on an hp 15-ab121dx. Rolling back through 5.12.1* kernels did not help. Shut down and unplugged my laptop to see if it was a temporary glitch. Will power back on in the morning. |

My laptop is hp 15-ax218tx,running kernel 5.10.49. |

My laptop is hp 15-ax218tx,running kernel 5.10.49. |
EDIT: It's a upower bug. https://bugs.gentoo.org/802552
EDIT EDIT: Rolled back to sys-power/upower-0.99.11 and the battery reports properly again. |
