Howdy, just yesterday I reinstalled Gentoo on the stable branch with a custom kernel, and got everything* running smoothly. However, I cant seem to get Pulseaudio to recognize my USB peripherals as output options.
I immediately assumed this was a kernel issue, so I went looking and saw that CONFIG_SND_USB_AUDIO was not set. So I enabled it, rebuilt, rebooted, but still pavucontrol only shows my normal speakers as an option (which I believe is from CONFIG_SND_HDA_INTEL being enabled). Is there some kernel setting I'm missing here? My microphone (FIFINE K670) and headset (HyperX Cloud Revolver S) are recognized by lsusb, but Pulse does not see them as options for output.
I am only assuming this is a kernel issue because when I used dist-kernel in my last Gentoo setup, my headphones and microphone worked just fine, though I'm not sure lsusb would recognize them if it was a kernel problem.
Here is my output from lsusb, I can send anything else if needed:

EDIT: I've also enabled CONFIG_MEDIA_USB_SUPPORT, but that hasn't solved the issue either. |

Point2Kelvin,
Does suggest that you are runnnig the kernel you think you are?
The date/time is the build time of the running kernel. _________________ Regards,
