|
|
As the title says the ncmpcpp visualizer has strange artifacts on it.
image here
I have tried re-emerging mpd, which provides the fifo for the visualizer, ncurses, ncmpcpp itself, etc. Pretty much the whole dependency tree.
It's not like a stuck pixel, it will eventually get filled, but there are always some spots missing the fillings and some spots that get stuck filled.
I was just wondering if I missed something simple or if this was a fix to this.[/url]
Solution: It looks like the font2 patch/secondary font I was using was what was causing the issue.

I'd try with different terminal emulator. How does it work on Linux virtual console?
Do you run ncmpcpp inside a terminal multiplexer like GNU screen or tmux? Via remote connection?
There are so many variables here:- font
- terminal emulator
- terminal multiplexer
- remote (ssh/mosh/et) or local connection

Thanks for the responce, I never thought to try a different terminal.
I quickly tried xterm and it seems to work there, and I'm currently using ST.
I'll check out changing fonts and other stuff, and am not using any multuplexer.
If nothing works, I may just switch terminals. |
