What Named Flying Object is this? Do users need to take some special action to land this NFO? |

Hello all Tweedledum & Tweedledee friends @ Gentoo forum.
That browser plugin has been declared abandonned ~ 16 months ago.
Lucky me I didn't remove it.
Was happily surprised by update notification.

If I'm not mistaken, it was "discontinued" about a year ago? 2018 was the last year with a lot of updates. Version history since 2018 from github: Quote: | 1.4.4 Jul 20, 2021
1.4.3b0 Jul 19, 2021
1.4.2 Jul 19, 2021
1.4.1b6 Feb 24, 2020
1.4.1b5 Jan 3, 2020
1.4.1b4 Dec 31, 2019
1.4.0 Sep 5, 2019 |
Looks like that was fixed in 1.4.2 in July. Updates after that look like maintenance (based on cursory look at release notes).
uBlock Origin doesn't seem like a solution to me, so I'm grateful he's fixing occasional issues. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |

I use a combination of uMatrix and uBlock and it works well, replaces the old combo of adblock/noscript _________________ PRIME x570-pro, 3700x, 6.1 zen kernel

I've read that manual rules can be created, but that's a usability loss. _________________ Quis separabit? Quo animo? |
