i have ethernet 8139too and scsi aic7xxx in the the file /etc/modules.autoload but for some reason they are not loaded at boot..
and when i modprobe they load fine
did i forgot something ?? |

maybe stoopid question but...
do you have the two modules in your /etc/modules.autoload.d/kernel-2.x enabled? you need to put them into that file that fits to your kernel...

Maybe another stupid question, but what exactly did you write into the file?
modprobe driver
modprobe driver2
or
driver
driver2
the last line would be correct.
