I haven't used X for ages - only running Gentoo on some headless servers - but you should look for a log (Xorg.*.log?) and look for errors (EE) - I don't think warnings alone will stop x from starting?

I have the same warnings (Could not resolve keysym XF86???) on archlinux after running startx, I asked on the archlinux forum, and they said these are just harmless warnings.

And my xorg server works all right.

So I guess these warnings have nothing to do with you not being able to run xorg server

thank you for your replies guys, sorry for replying late to you. i will try to discuss each of your replies. i will post the output of emerge --info soon.
for the errors that i get, i cannot have a gui at all, they sound like they do not let the gui appear, i tried to make lightdm the service that starts at login but it didn't work, i did the same with gdm and got the same result. i tried to change .xinitrc between gnome and xfce and run startx but it didn't work.
for arch linux similar error that you mentioned i find it similar and i found this link https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=267893 tried to run that command that takes the output to null but it didn't work

i found a weird workaround to get rid of this messages like Could not resolve keysym XF86BrightnessAuto etc.

by using both in INPUT_DEVICES="evdev libinput" in /etc/portage/make.conf

but after install is finished, move /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf elsewhere or according to wiki:

Quote:
If /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-evdev.conf exists then Xorg will still reference it.

i also re-emerged x11-apps/xkbcomp - just to get sure 8O

and voila, the messages from .xsession-errors are gone after restart - also this message client bug: event processing lagging behind by 23ms, your system is too slow  :D

switched from evdev, using libinput with following config:

Code:
Section "InputClass"
        Identifier              "libinput pointer catchall"
        MatchIsPointer          "on"
        MatchDevicePath         "/dev/input/event*"
        Driver                  "libinput"
EndSection

Section "InputClass"
        Identifier              "libinput keyboard catchall"
        MatchIsKeyboard         "on"
        MatchDevicePath         "/dev/input/event*"
        Option  "XkbLayout"     "de"
        Option  "XkbVariant"    "nodeadkeys"
        Option  "XkbModel"      "pc105"
        Driver                  "libinput"
EndSection

greetings (...programs)
