Hehe... Last time it didn't seem that long, probably because I fell asleep. But of course I totally borked my install so all the joys of reinstalling.

THankfully I backed up my config files :)

I'm thinkin of takin a spare 20 gig hard drive and installing gentoo to it with the setting for my hardware. Do the whole thing from stage1. Then, to install later i just "dd if=/dev/hdf3 of=/dev/hde3" and poof! just like new.
