color management with colord and xiccd?

After producing an .icm file for my monitor under windows I'd like to use this under linux as well (mainly for darktable). According to the wiki on color management I've emerged colord and xiccd. As an xfce4 user, I suppose the "Others" section should apply. How do I get these daemons to start at boot time? "rc-update add colord default" resp. "rc-update add xiccd default" complained that these services do not exist.

I did change the extension from .icm to .icc and stored the file both in ~/.local/share/icc and in /usr/share/color/icc/colord.
