salve a tutti.. sto cercando di far andare il framebuffer a risoluzione diversa dalla canonica 1024x768 o 1280x1024... io lo vorrei a 1152x864
ho trovato un topic tedesco dove c'e un tizio che pare abbia trovato come mettere 1400x1050.. quindi credo ci sia anche 1152x864! il problema e' che io il tedesco non lo mastico tanto... vi posto il link https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=114478&highlight=framebuffer |

Interessa anche a me. La bande nere ai lati del mio monitor 16:9 sono antiestetiche

pare che devi impostare vga=0x343 nel lilo.conf (o grub.conf)
il mio problema permane xo :-/
e... sopratutto.. si puo alzare il refresh?
mi sono andato a vedere /etc/fb.modes e ci stanno scritte un po di modalita', anche a diverso refresh da 60hz.. ma come faccio a selezionarle da lilo.conf ?!?!!? |

0x343 e' per la risoluzione 1400x1050. Ho cercato un po' e sembra non sia possibile impostare 1280x768 (la risoluzione del mio monitor). Pace.

ah non avevo capito bene.. credevo dovessi usar 1400x1050!
cmq c'e un topic dove un tizio dice di poter far "trasformare" qualsiasi risoluzione di xfree in risoluzione framebuffer (credo anche in base al refresh) tramite uno script kspread o_O
