Hello,
I installed firefox-bin on current and it loads but under a new icon in gnome and it uses a standard icon to load a new window but not the firefox icon. How can I fix this?

Edit the Launcher and change the icon.
There must be an old firefox icon someplace in your icons directory.
If not download one of your liking. _________________

It's the way the package presents itself.
cp /usr/share/applications/firefox-bin.desktop /usr/share/applications/firefox.desktop
fixed it |

It's the desktop files. Back in the day there was a way, that was gnome1 or 2 I believe. gnome-shell is a bit different now. |
