I'm running Windowmaker on a laptop with a maximum resolution of 1280x1024, and when I bring up X, it's pretty obvious that I can't see the full desktop. The 1280x1024 resolution setting shows me most of the upper-left corner of the desktop, and as I cycle through the resolutions using ctrl + alt + +/-, I end up seeing some other sections of the display, like the icons on the right hand side, etc.
Does anybody have any ideas? I can't find anything awry in my system logs.

Well, it seems that my monitor, though the XFree logs claim that 1280x1064 works, it doesn't act nicely. Once I bumped everything in my XF86config down to 1024x768, everything worked nicely. I'll have to call my laptop manufacturer, as none of the documentation on their website or with my laptop actually lists the maximum resolution...
