Recently I bought a used Axis surveillance camera. Model Q1614. It has MIPS 34Kc V5.0 as main CPU.
Right after booting it I managed to start sshd on it via its script manager. I got root access.
So at first I'm thinking of running portage inside chroot/container. This means preserving that quite old kernel (unless I can get newer one running with in-kernel-tree drivers).
I can get more info from it when I plug it back to my switch, but first:Anyone here running Portage or full Gentoo system on MIPS hardware? How's the software support? _________________ ..: Zucca :..
