Hi, I'm planning to buy a PowerEdge 1600SC server configured with an Adaptec 39160 U3 (LVD) SCSI PCI controller and two SCSI harddrives that do raid 1 . My question is: if one of the two hard drives fails can I then just replace it on the fly and the data will get written on both drives again or is this going to be a more complicated task?
