lieg ich richtig mit der annahme dass der kernel 2.6-test11 fuer dieses board keinen i2c support hat?

laut kernel hilfe zum i801 treiber wird der smbus controller 82801EB nicht unterstützt, allerdings scheint die hilfe etwas veraltet zu sein,
laut quellcode werden folgende modelle supported:
SUPPORTED DEVICES PCI ID
82801AA 2413
82801AB 2423
82801BA 2443
82801CA/CAM 2483
82801DB 24C3
82801EB 24D3
die option befindet sich unter "device drivers" -> "character devices" -> "i2c support" -> "i2c hardware bus support" -> "i801"
allerdings kann ich nicht sagen ob der treiber wirklich einwandfrei mit dem board funktioniert... |

genau.....
so steht es zumindest auf lm-sensors.nu.
die bezeichung stimmt auch mit der hardware auf dem board ueberein.
ich bekomm hier nur kein device in /sys/bus/i2c/devices angelegt.
in google hab ich nichts gefunden in zusammenhang mit diesem intel-board.
naja, vielleicht mach auch ich was falsch mit der auswahl der module.

ich hatte vorher ein asus-board mit dem i850 chipsatz wofuer ich das module w83781d.ko in einsatz hatte.
mal sehn ob ich in google doch noch fuendig werde.

nabend.......
also der 2.6er test11 hat natuerlich support fuer dieses board.
lm85 und eeprom braucht man dafuer.
mfg
ps.
es ist wirklich erstaunlich wie gut der 2.6 schon ist.
das onboard-lan intel/pro 1000 laeuft super.
hyper-threading flutscht.
und laut dmesg wird die komplette hardware als solche erkannt.
