Hi all,
I have a Aten US224 USB switch that is supposed to share 4 USB to 2 computers.

What I want to do is to use it on the same computer to alternate the use of the keyboard and mouse between Gentoo (the OS host on my computer) and MS Windows running under QEMU/KVM.

The problem is that every time I push the button on the Aten US224 USB, it seems it keep changing the device ID (the xxxx:yyyy number) of both keyboard and mouse with new numbers instead of jumping back and forth with 2 static ones. For Gentoo is not a problem as it grep the new ones just fine, but for QEMU/KVM (or virt-manager as I use it as GUI to QEMU/KVM) is a problem as I have to associate specific numbers (otherwise the Keyboard and mouse are not available).

Do you know how can I solve it?

Thanks and best regards.
