About Thunar if you have some shares that Thunar can mount it always try to do it. It slow it's bootup. Have you try hdparm to test the performance of your ssd? It can be a graphic problem, what video card do you have and what kernel frammebuffer and Xorg module drive it?

DARKBOW923,

That's unlikely to be your SSD.

Please post the output of
Code:
lspci -nnk
so we can see your hardware.

Put the following onto pastebins please, as they are too big for a post.
The output of
Code:
dmesg
, there may be some interesting errors there.
Your Xorg.0.log, I suspect the video driver is supoptimal.
Your kernel .config which will help the diagnosis by analysis.

I don't think its my SSD since my processor is using the 100% with X when XFCE is my desktop, however when i'm using cinnamon or KDE the processor isn't overloading.

DARKBOW923,

Code:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: Intel Corporation CometLake-H GT2 [UHD Graphics] [8086:9bc4] (rev 05)
   DeviceName:  Onboard IGD
...
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller [0300]: NVIDIA Corporation TU117M [10de:1f99] (rev a1)
   DeviceName: NVIDIA Graphics Device

Which graphics card are you using or do you have an Optimus graphics system?

Your Xorg.0.log on a pastebin will help a great deal here.
