|
|
After HDMI monitor linux power saving shutting down, i.e. not from the monitor itself,
once monitor is manually switching back, i.e. monitor wakeup or resume from system suspend,HDMI sound keeps being reported as switched off in pavucontrol.
Currently using pipewire derived from a pulseaudio config.
Can't say switch is involved here, i.e. former may have behave the same.
Any idea how to fix?
Thanks 4 ur attention, interest & support. _________________ USE="-* ..." in /etc/portage/make.conf here, i.e. a countermeasure to portage implicit braces, belt & diaper paradigm

workaround
The main idea is to switch to alternate HDMI resolution & switch back.
Maybe someone as insight how to change settings to avoid manual recovery?
