Hello everyone! I have Lenovo Ideapad 330. It has ELAN061D touchpad, but it is not working.
My kernel version is 5.16.15-gentoo
My kernel config:
https://pastebin.com/gwdDufGU
My dmesg:
https://pastebin.com/qWHrV28j
Acpidump:
sudo acpidump | grep -i ELAN
    Wrong checksum for FADT!
    e630: 45 4c 41 4e 30 36 31 44 00 5f 48 49 44 70 0a 15 ELAN061D._HIDp..
    e8e0: 53 31 0a 03 70 0d 45 4c 41 4e 32 30 39 37 00 5f S1..p.ELAN2097._

On Ubuntu all works fine. Thank you!

Albert753258,

Welcome to Gentoo Forums !

I suppose your touchpad is connected via I2C which can be tricky to configure. Maybe you are missing GPIO or/and pinctrl module.

I made a german guide for I2C touchpads if you want to take a look into; see only kernel config (or translate with google): https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-p-8692426.html#8692426
