Hello, I am using wpa_supplicant on an OpenRC system with a Broadcom BCM43224. When waking from suspend, the wifi connection does not automatically resume, and I have to restart the wpa_supplicant service. After doing so, it works fine. I've attached the applicable output from dmesg here: https://pastebin.com/hUhDgY6E
I should mention this is a laptop and the system is being suspended by closing the lid. I'm not sure if this is the correct method/needs configuring in /etc/elogind/logind.conf
Please let me know if any more information is needed. Thank you for your time :^)

Welcome to Gentoo Forums.
Plz see
https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Elogind#Hook_scripts_to_be_run_when_suspending.2Fhibernating_and.2For_when_resuming.2Fthawing
In the "post/*)" section of the script you may wish to add
Code:

rc-service net.wlan0 restart

or however the wifi iface is named.

Thanks a lot for your suggestion, that seems to be working well! Is there any difference/preferred choice between restarting the entire wpa_supplicant service and restarting just the wireless network interface?
