I always run into problems with the install. I got it as far as the booting of the live cd (athlon-xp 1.4), but then it tries to detect scsi!
First message is: "beginning storage detection"
Then comes: "scanning for aic7xxx...", followed by "detected aic7xxx hardware"
Last is: "scanning for aic7xxx_old..." and then it just hangs. I see from the cdrom lights, that there is a regular scsi reset going on, but that's it.
Booted with: smp-apci doscsi dokeymap
If I do not use -acpi, I never even get that far. Without doscsi, I get the prompt, but it has not found and drives or cd's (surprise) and the keymap is really handy.
