Gentoo on Cubieboard 1, 2, CubieTruck, etc.

Hello everyone,

I managed to install Gentoo on an old Cubieboard (armv7-a, Allwinner A10). Works, amazingly. Now compiling libreoffice!

When these were new, a mini touchscreen was released, baptized Cubiescreen. It uses the pin header that the device comes with and it looks custom made for the Cubieboard.
Those screens don't just work out of the box. Someone posted the (open-source) code on Github, including what appears to be code adapted to a recent version of Armbian:

The name implies it's for the Cubieboard 2, but the pin headers are the same for Cubieboard 1, 2, 6 and 7.

I have no idea what is needed to install that code and I hope someone can tell me.

Secondarily, I also hope some Gentoo ARM developer has a Cubieboard 1/2/6/7 and a Cubiescreen!
