In order to help you, we need the error message. It's above the snippet you posted, sometimes several hundred lines above.

Please take a look at the file /var/tmp/portage/portage/net-fs/samba-4.15.4-r3/temp/build.log

If the file is not too large, please post it using wgetpaste.

If it is large, then try to find the error message. In most cases, it helps to search for the first occurrence of "error:".

You could also emerge Samba with MAKEOPTS="-j1" and post the last 500 lines of the build log (tail -n 500 build.log) using wgetpaste.

P.S: MAKEOPTS="-j13" and (only) 16 GB RAM may lead to out-of-memory errors. I have never seen that happen with Samba, so it's unlikely that it happened in this case. But it frequently happens on huge C++ packages like Webkit, Webengine, LibreOffice, etc. So whenever you get strange errors when emerging large packages, take a look at the output of 'dmesg' and look for error messages from the OOM killer.

This is the paste.

I'm in trouble also with those packages

Code:

snoopx /home/luca # emerge -a -uvDU @world --keep-going=y
[ebuild     U ] dev-cpp/glibmm-2.66.4 [2.66.2] USE="-debug -doc -test" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)"
[ebuild  rR   ] net-fs/samba-4.15.4-r3  USE="acl client cups pam regedit system-mitkrb5 -addc -ads -ceph -cluster -debug (-fam) -glusterfs -gpg -iprint -json -ldap -profiling-data -python -quota (-selinux) -snapper -spotlight -syslog (-system-heimdal) -systemd (-test) -winbind -zeroconf" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)" CPU_FLAGS_X86="aes" PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="python3_9 -python3_8 -python3_10"
[ebuild     U ] dev-cpp/gtkmm-3.24.6 [3.24.5] USE="X (-aqua) -doc -test -wayland" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)"
[ebuild     U ] net-misc/networkmanager-1.36.4 [1.32.12-r1] USE="bluetooth concheck elogind gtk-doc introspection modemmanager nss (policykit) ppp tools wext wifi -audit -connection-sharing -debug -dhclient -dhcpcd -gnutls -iptables -iwd -libedit% -lto -nftables -ofono -ovs -psl -resolvconf (-selinux) -syslog -systemd -teamd -test -vala" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)"

Would you like to merge these packages? [Yes/No]

After I have switched (too late I know) to a new stable profile, I have solved a loooot for problems.

Rebuild sys-libs/tevent because when you switch from 17.0 to 17.1 profile somethings went wrong, indeed you have 32bit libraries in /usr/lib32 but in a 17.1 profile should be in /usr/lib/.

-- edit --
Maybe you missed step emerge -1v --deep /lib32 /usr/lib32 /usr/lib/llvm/*/lib32 as news item say.

No, I have take a look to history command and I have did it.
But I'm pretty sure I have problems for the switch 17.0. 17.1 profile...

I can do it another time without problems in your opinion?

Yes, this command tries to rebuild the packages to which these libraries belong.

I've tried to rebuild tevent but samba fails again.

I try to build samba with less -j, maybe j4 but I didin't had problems with this package.

Code:
snoopx /home/luca #  emerge -1v --deep /lib32 /usr/lib32 /usr/lib/llvm/*/lib32

emerge: there are no ebuilds to satisfy "media-libs/gst-plugins-bad:0.10".
snoopx /home/luca # emerge -pv gst-plugins-bad
[ebuild   R   ] media-libs/gst-plugins-bad-1.20.2  USE="X bzip2 egl gtk introspection nls opengl orc -gles2 -test -vnc -wayland" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)"

I have something wrong and I don't think it's easy to solve it... but I will try :)

The media-libs/gst-plugins-bad:0.10 is no longer in tree and I think isn't required by any packages, so try with emerge -1v --deep /lib32 /usr/lib32 /usr/lib/llvm/*/lib32 --exclude media-libs/gst-plugins-bad:0.10.
