|
|
Hi everybody,
how can I adjust my Audigy 2. For example: I want to adjust the bass and so on. I`ve done that at xmms, is there any other option too?
Where can I adjust the soundlevel when booting?
And one more question: where can I adjust my Audigy2 that it works with my microphone. I`ve tried it with krecord, but that doesn`t work...
Thanks for your help,
G. |

What wm are you running?
Which kernel?
I'm running gnome2 and kernel 2.6.0-test11-gentoo-r2 (development sources) with ALSA compiled as kernel modules.
Just emerge media-sound/gnome-alsamixer.
Another option is to emerge media-sound/alsa-utils.
this gives you alsamixer to set the sound levels and this works with the 2.4 kernel aswell.

I`m running KDE and Kernel 2.4.20... I have configured or installed my card with the emu10k1 drivers. So I haven`t used ALSA.
Is it although possible to adjust the card with ALSA-Mixer?
But there it`s just pooible to adjust the loudness not the bass, .... isn`t it?
thanks, G. |

With alsamixer you can change virtually every little detail for your Audigy 2 card, loudness == volume is definitely 1 of them
Read the ALSA HowTo on gentoo.org for better understanding of ALSA. _________________ Why did it happen ? BOFH Excuse:

alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such file or directory
What`s wrong?

You need ALSA-support in the kernel. |
