Does using root password for sudo and disable login for root make the system more secure against remote attacks?

BWKC,
Welcome to Gentoo.
Your question is incomplete. More secure against what?
Remote attacks?
Maybe
Attacks by someone with physical access to the console?
No. Anyone with physical access to the console can get root access. _________________ Regards,
