I installed gentoo at school, using a T1, so I didn't install PPPoE at that time. But now I'm home, and I want to set up PPPoE. How can I do this? Is it possible without recompiling the kernel?
P.S. I am a newbie, so please try to make answers comprehensible. Thanks |

You do need to have PPP support compiled into your kernel to use PPPoE, so if you don't have that you'll need to recompile it. |

After compiled and booted with the new kernel, run adsl-setup to setup your connections. _________________ "I'm just very selective about the reality I choose to accept." -- Calvin |
