I am pretty sure this must have been asked before. What is the best practise of putting KDE + Gnome together --- or can I just live with one - typically Gnome. With most of the application running? (even ones that were designed for KDE???) _________________ -----------------------------------------

In order to run a Gnome or KDE app, you only need the shared libraries, not the whole desktop environment. If you were running Gnome and wanted to use occasional KDE apps, I think all you need is kdelibs and its dependencies. |
