I'm preparing a little project which requires doing custom (but mostly easy) tasks in several locations. Was going to simply throw a few raspberries at the problem, but the stock is pretty much non-existent with long queues, so I find myself looking for alternatives. Too bad, easier said than done though.
So, I'm looking for cheap and low wattage devices with:
* 2 USB host ports
* 2GB RAM
* SD card slot (or USB). Not eMMC since those are soldered and can't be easily removed
* wifi (or USB)
* ethernet (or USB)
Nice to have, but not necessary:
* hardware watchdog
* PoE
Will be running linux, will be running headless.
Is there anything that would fit the description and be available in Europe? |

May be friendlyelec.com have something fits your bill. I got two R4S from them year ago, works great for my RPI home lab, doing all my build on one of R4S then use on my rpi 4B.
Or check out Jeff Geerling's project. There may have something of interesting. |

szatox,
There is nothing special abut the PI. Its the same the world over.
You can't get the bits to build them ... whatever 'them' is. _________________ Regards,

Radxa might have something you can use. Disclaimer: I bought a Zero just over a year ago and haven't really used it yet ![Wink ;)](images/smiles/icon_wink.gif) _________________ quasi-religious systemic wrongism pessimizes indiscriminately |
