Code:
sys-libs/libxcrypt-4.4.28-r1::gentoo was built with the following:
USE="(compat) (split-usr) (system) -static-libs -test" ABI_X86="(64) -32 (-x32)"

Did you formerly use a /no-multilib profile (either by selecting it or using a no-multilib stage3)? Guessing given ABI_X86="32" is default for libxcrypt on multilib, so seeing how it "was" disabled and your toolchain doesn't seem to have 32bit support in that config.log...

If so, unfortunately migrating from no-multilib is not a straight forward venture. Right now you probably can't rebuild glibc either among other things (should work again if went back to a no-multilib profile though).

User: Ionen
Topic: sys-libs/libxcrypt-4.4.28-r1 FAILED
Post: post 8754209
Reason:

Yes I change to stable plasma when Installing KDE

Would you suggest going back to multi lib and running

Code:
emerge --ask --changed-use --deep @world

[Moderator edit: split this post from the "Report violations" thread and merged it here, since it was clearly meant to be a reply to Ionen. -Hu]

That PAM output looks like you might have set USE=debug on sys-libs/pam.

That has sorted that out.

Code:
sys-libs/libxcrypt-4.4.28-r1::gentoo was built with the following:
USE="(compat) (split-usr) (system) -static-libs -test" ABI_X86="(64) -32 (-x32)"

That Has worked after switching back profiles with
Code:
eselect profile set
And using package.accept_keywords as libxcrypt was masked by the ~amd64 keyword

Another issue I have at the moment is with Nano I cant do anything when I use keyboard I get

Code:
Sequence of hex codes: 102

World update might sort it :)
