alternatives to net-misc/wol [solved: net-misc/wakeonlan]

Hi!

Due to be unmaintained and bugs with recent build toolchains (bug 874420), app-misc/wol will be dropped.

Do you know simple and CLI alternative to launch WOL packets in the same LAN?
I use it to wake some machines.

Hello Fedelliallalinea,

net-misc/wakeonlan seems a good and simple replacement (it's a Perl script).

I only have to s/wol/wakeonlan/ in my scripts and it works
