I've been having trouble recently getting my games to run at a stable framerate in both Proton and in web-based games. They all run at ~20fps and take up 120-300% of my CPU, which I know is possible, but is abnormal for my hardware. I've tried using the prebuilt kernel, changing my cpu scheduler. I'm using nvidia's proprietary driver, and strangely enough DX games such as Tetris Effect work just fine, but games in proton are just broken. Ill send a kernel config, as well as some hardware info
I know this post is lacking in info, I have a bad memory, but I'll do my best to provide any intel you guys need.
Kernel Config: https://dpaste.com/GLQ86X5GJ
Hardware:
GPU: RTX 2080 w/ 515.6 driver
CPU: i7-9700k
RAM: 32GB
Any and all help is appreciated. |

Not really well versed in this stuff but can you try installing a game in regular wine (with dxvk I guess) and see if that works? It'll be a good idea to isolate the problem first. Also, in steam, consider changing the proton version and see if that helps. _________________ Haters gonna hate,
