how do I found an old post of mine?

I asked a question a month or so back, and the answer was useful and I need to see it again.

The trouble is when I click "View your posts", it isn't there anymore. How do I view it?

Either click on your name in the forum index entry for this topic, or search for it in the memberlist from the menubar at the top of every page.

I use a web search with site:forums.gentoo.org appended to the search string.

The search on the profile page only returns the most recent 6666 posts. :)
