hello,
i want to get my radeon 9000 running on a sis based mainboard.
i have to load agpgart with agp_try_unsupported=1 to make it load. fglx loads fine. x starts fine - but if i launch glxgears, the gears stand still and nothing can be done to kill x. if i kill x, the sys hardlocks.
agpgart is compiled in as module with sis support.
dri isn't enabled. framebuffer is compiled in as generic.

i'm using gentoo-sources 2.4.20-r9
also tried 2.6.0-test9 but there i wasn't able to load agpgart...
