|
|
Using a Hori xbox controller I bought recently, it only supports xinput, no switch to change to dinput etc. It works with everything but wine, if I "wine control" the gamepad simply doesn't show up.
I've tried "winetricks xinput" in case it was related and no dice. Any ideas? I have other gamepads I COULD use but this one is quite comfortable. |

USE=sdl is enabled on your wine, right? (it's default, but asking in case given sometime people disable these defaults in the hope to need less 32bit libs)
Normally wine uses libsdl2 for input which tend to just work in my experience. |

Yep, SDL is enabled. I don't think I've disabled any USEs for wine in general.
Would any extra packages be required? I see people mention something called xboxdrv but I'm not sure if that's necessary with xpad support enabled in the kernel. |

Well, I don't know what the actual issue was, but it seems to have resolved itself |
