Welp, there was a brief period after upgrading to KDE Plasma 6 where sleeping/standby worked pretty well. Unfortunately, over the last month or two its worse than ever. Now it basically won't ever go to sleep automatically based on the time limit set in the power management settings. If I try to manually put it to sleep it goes into an unrecoverable mode 100% of the time. Not sure exactly when the break occurred, but there have been several updates to both the nvidia drivers and KDE. This is on a clean install as of about a month ago, so there isn't any cruft left over from a transition from KDE Plasma 5. |
