Greetings!

I've been running Gentoo on a Thinkpad Carbon X1 Gen 9 laptop for about two years and I've configured practically all of the hardware to my liking.

Except! For some reason, my microphone does not appear as a device when running

Is this a known firmware issue to anyone with new Thinkpads X1s? I feel as though I've tried to configure the kernel with just about every option under the Device Drivers -> Sound Card support -> ALSA...

I've been putting off this problem for a while since I have another laptop but alas, I'm hoping this will be the month where I solve this issue...
