Hello dear friends,
I have installed a second VM with Gentoo, now drifting a bit further away from @Pietinger's recommendation.
I have managed to create my own no-multilib/desktop profile and installed XFCE alongside sddm.
After I log into my user in sddm the screen goes black and the only thing I can see is the Xorg "X" mouse pointer.
I know that you guys will likely be able to help me out here, and if you could tell me the most important logs I could check out, I'd be happy to provider more info!
thank you |

Review /var/log/Xorg.0.log for clues. _________________ Andy Figueroa

I don't think that that's an issue. I have been using sddm with XFCE on other systems before.
This is my X-log, there appears to be some USB issue?
