|
|
I have a host computer using gentoo at my home, and I have a client at work from which I want to connect and use 3d apps with low latency (no sound required)
I have used a vnc specifically tigervnc which works and I'm typing this post from the work computer, the problem is that I cannot use any 3d apps due to how the input is being sent, instead of it being a relative pointer like in a mouse, the input is being sent as absolute, similar to a tablet, which doesn't work with 3d apps.
I have also tried nomachine but it isn't supported on gentoo
Pasec is a often recommended but it doesn't support hosting on linux.
Anyone know any good solutions for my problem, thank you in advance :3 |

Do you use Steam at all?
Steam's Remote Play actually works pretty well (at least with Steam games).
Haven't tried it with non-Steam games honestly, so I have no idea if it works with those or not. |

Yes my only issue is not really wanting to install a game client on my work computer |
