Hi, I am totally new to afs,
I tried to follow the Openafs guide, but when I try
| Code: | | /usr/afs/bin/vos create localhost /vicea root.afs -cell bigspace -noauth |
It says vos: could not interpret partition name '/vicea'
The following the guide on openafs.org I tried
| Code: | | /usr/afs/bin/vos create localhost /vicepa root.afs -cell bigspace -noauth |
It says vos : partition /vicepa does not exist on the server
Any ideas?
By the way it's version 1.2.6

try shutting down all afs processes (or just reboot) and then mount the /vicepa partition first, and then try your command agaiin. the partition has to be mounted before afs daemons start.
