so i installed games-puzzle/neverball and when i move the ball with the mouse, the cursor always appears when moving it and the expected behavior is to capture the mouse in the game making the cursor invisible to move the ball like in other distros. this is kinda annoying me with the cursor always showing up when moving the ball with the mouse. is there a way to fix that?
heres my proof:

if i built the game from the git repo then run it, the game captures the cursor as expected. |

That suggests the problem has been fixed since the release that is in Portage. I do not see any indication that upstream has tagged a release in years though. Perhaps it would be worth asking them to post a full release, so that it can be packaged in the Gentoo tree. |

If you want to use the version from portage, you can try to apply this patch on top of 1.6.0-r1 using /etc/portage/patches mechanism. |
