[I'm trying to switch out of the dist Kernel but I've been stuck for too long , but when [/code]I run [sudo emerge --deselect virtual/perl-Compress-Raw-Zlib] I just get [>>> No matching atoms found in "world" favorites file...]

Heres the shortemed ver of what it looks like when I run [sudo emerge -uDN --verbose-conflicts --with-bdeps=y sys-kernel/gentoo-sources]

[[blocks B ] <perl-core/Compress-Raw-Zlib-2.204.1_rc ("<perl-core/Compress-Raw-Zlib-2.204.1_rc" is soft blocking virtual/perl-Compress-Raw-Zlib-2.204.1_rc)

It may be possible to solve this problem by using package.mask to
prevent one of those packages from being selected. However, it is also
possible that conflicting dependencies exist such that they are
impossible to satisfy simultaneously. If such a conflict exists in
the dependencies of two different packages, then those packages can
not be installed simultaneously. You may want to try a larger value of
the --backtrack option, such as --backtrack=30, in order to see if
that will solve this conflict automatically.

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man
page or refer to the Gentoo Handbook.

I would not suggest -u or -N options when specifying a package to install.
These options are generally used, and most useful, for an @world update call.

I would do emerge sys-kernel/gentoo-sources alone for example. It is also wise to bring the system up-to-date with an @world update. Particularly, if conflicts do arise when installing something new.

Code:
(virtual/libudev-232-r8:0/1::gentoo, installed) USE="-systemd" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)" pulled in by
virtual/libudev:0/1[abi_x86_32(-)?,abi_x86_64(-)?,abi_x86_x32(-)?,abi_mips_n32(-)?,abi_mips_n64(-)?,abi_mips_o32(-)?,abi_s390_32(-)?,abi_s390_64(-)?] required by (sys-libs/libudev-compat-186-r1:0/0::gentoo, installed) USE="" ABI_X86="32 (64) (-x32)"
is built to include 32 bit code.

The updated virtual/libudev
Code:
=virtual/libudev-251-r1[abi_x86_64(-)] required by (media-libs/libcanberra-0.30-r7:0/0::gentoo, installed) USE="alsa gtk3 sound udev -gnome -gstreamer -gtk2 -oss -pulseaudio -tdb" ABI_X86="(64) -32 (-x32)"
does not include 32 bit code.

What should I do to fix that? :oops:

Nothing directly as it is not relevant to fixing your issue. This will be solved in a full update and also that the advice is misleading.
