after NetworkManager and ModemManager have done their thing and I get to the login menu, ModemManager prints this:
Code:
ModemManager[1877]: <info> [base-manager] couldn't check support for device '/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1c.2/0000:03:00.0': not supported by any plugin

After this it prints nothing, but when I hit enter, this shows up:
Code:
This is MiWiFi-R3600-srv (Linux x86_64 6.1.46-gentoo-dist) 13:05:43

MiWiFi-R3600-srv login:

My router is a Mi AIoT AX3600. I've tried to enter my router's SSID and password, and the admin password, but that didn't work. What is going on here?

Update, turns out I can log in with my normal username and password, but now my hostname is MiWiFi-R3600-srv instead of pyropc.
My /etc/hostname file is still the same, and internet functions (links, emerging, pinging gentoo.org) now work.

Final update! Turns out someone had the same issue as I did, and they solved it by changing their /etc/conf.d/hostname file.
