I'm having an issue where EA games through steam, ie fallen order, do not work when I use my custom kernel config, they hang on the link2EA launcher. However, when using "gentoo-dist" kernel, everything launches as expected. I have all of the recommended kernel options for my GPU and for steam enabled, not sure if there is anything else I should be enabling? Other (Non EA) games work fine, it's just that specific launcher causing problems.
Kernel config:

I'm not positive yet on if it's the kernel's fault.
Try installing d3dcompiler_47 via protontricks. That typically fixes EA games. |

Maybe you need to enable:
Code: | General setup --->
[*] uselib syscall (for libc5 and earlier) |
(but I am not sure if this is still up to date; before a long time it was necessary because some application of EA needs this (outdated) syscall) |
