The text maybe should be changed as it refers to old kernels which do not exists anymore.
Note
Some things may be slightly different in the menuconfig interface on newer kernels, for example, CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK_IPV6 does not exist in Kernel [b]5.10[/b] and has now been consolidated into CONFIG_NF_CONNTRACK for both IPV6 and IPV4 (in the "Core Netfilter Configuration" tab)!
Maybe it's time to change that wiki section https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Home_router
