|
|
My Setup:
Am using combination of two profiles
Code: | gentoo:default/linux/amd64/17.1/systemd/selinux
gentoo:targets/desktop/plasma |
My SELinux configuration
Code: | SELINUX=permissive
SELINUXTYPE=mcs |
I've followed the setup but there is one big difference:
When running id -Z after logging in to a terminal I get the expected "u_staff" but when I login to KDE/Wayland and run the command inside konsole, I get different output Code: | system_u:system_r:initrc_t:s0 |
Switching my selinux from permissive to enforcing completely freeze the system or maybe just that I lose access to keyboard and mouse.
Restarting in enforcing mode would prevent sddm daemon from starting altogether.
What am I doing wrong? |

Welcome to Gentoo.
This is to be expected.
Plz dont run selinux wit KDE unlesss you want to spend weeks troubleshooting.
If you want to play with selinux start with minimal install,troubleshoot,add a daemon,troubleshoot,add another one etc. _________________
