Been working fine for the past days. Woke up today to find my interface device wlp0s20f3 is unavailable via nmcli.
DEVICE TYPE STATE
wlp0s20f2 wifi unavailable
No kernel failures and firmware for it is correctly loaded and working. Interface is up but strangely enough is shown as (Ethernet) on wlp0s20f3 via ifconfig.
wlp0s20f3: flags=4099<UP,BROADCAST,MULTCAST> mtu 1500
Haven't touched a thing or changed any configs, setup has remained intact so I doubt its related to that.
Via iw it is able to scan networks and is completely functional. It entirely lies on NetworkManager. Radio and wifi are both on and rfkill is out of the way.
The (Ethernet) part still leaves me weirded out as I found a previous message about my interface not being the correct wifi type. Unsure how to change that or if its even relevant.
Any ideas? |

Confirmed that it isn't related to rfkill or that bug in particular. Additionally, kernel versions do not match (im on 6.6.0) and I am using the one I have always used even before this started happening. |
