sending is also not possible? >>> same message appeared.

i hope this is just a hiccup.

at least one of you could be so kind, who got access to my forums private messages, make an audio recording of the messages and send it to me via e-mail,

While I was kind of suggesting that you would create the bug report, as the user actually seeing the issue, I did consider filing one myself but did not get to it.

That said, I /have/ mentioned it to infra via IRC, so a bug report might not be necessary (not like we have steps to re-produce this, if it even is the same thing that I've seen before). Unless it starts happening more often... I maybe guess.

In any case, the issue is being looked at, but it may take some time for anything to happen (work, timezones, and all the other things getting in the way of things...).

As a side-note, onle a few (one?) member(s) of the infra can do anything about it at this time.

To expand a little on the "why", we don't know. For some reason the count had gotten to 65534 for your 'user_new_privmsg' (which is 'smallint' with a range of 0 to 65535) in the database, and I guess things went not good when the code tried adding more to it.

The reference to the forums upgrade means that we're not very keen on looking into actually fixing this (not that we know how to do that at this time since the cause is not clear), hoping that the upgrade happens before we really have to.
