i think this is a systemd question more than a networking question, but this forum seemed most appropriate... so here goes:
during boot, my machine reports the following during boot:
Code: | Job systemd-networkd-wait-online.service/start running (17s / no limit) |
and it'll timeout after a little over 2 minutes, then boot.
i have no idea what changed to make this happen - but would like to get back to booting without seeing this pause things for two minutes.
how do i fix this? thanks! |

I think at least one of the network interfaces is not online.
How do you manage your network interfaces? With systemd-networkd?
Do you see any hints with
Code: | systemctl --failed
systemctl status systemd-networkd
systemctl status systemd-networkd-wait-online
| ? |

hmmm... ok - a while ago i reworked my network and was wired until the wireless was worked out. it looks like it was the wired interface. i just tried systemctl disable systemd-networkd-wait-online.service to see what happens on the next boot...
thanks! |
