|
|
I configured my kernel for the first time after getting comfortable with using other things on Gentoo. I followed Mental Outlaws kernel video and was able to boot with minimal problems. Audio on youtube worked perfectly fine but I started a game on my native install of steam and the audio was really messed up where it made it unplayable. I use pipewire but did not find anything abnormal in the kernel according to the pipewire wiki page. I then looked at the pulseaudio wiki page and noticed you should have High Resolution Timer Support enabled in kernel which was turned off from watching Mental Outlaws video. Turned that on and the issue is fixed. I didn't notice any mention of this anywhere so I just wanted to put this out there. _________________ Its the guy. He did everything correct. |
