I can not send an email out from thunderbird as an alternative user, for example sending email from: info@domain works
but when I try: thelma@domain fails with error:
Code:
Sending of the message failed.
An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded:  Non-Compliant sender address. Code : -1. Please check the message and try again.

Tried to send an email from shaw webpage-mail as "thelma@domain" and it worked. It just start happening in the last two days.

I suggest you make sure that earch of your E-Mail adresses do use their individual authentication data.
It sounds to me that you want to send from address A with the login information for address B

What do you mean: individual authentication data?

I'm sending email out through Thunderbird.

Another thing I've noticed that I no longer see outgoing email being logged in /var/log/mail.log
I'm using postifx and all the outging mail used to be logged there. Was trying to analyze mail.log but the outgoing mail, even the one that works is not logged there.

How to analyzed it? I'm using: sysklogd and it is running.

I assumed you are using thunderbird with a email provider like google or yahoo.

My email provider is shaw.ca. I called them and they insisted they didn't make any changes.
The email was working perfectly OK on Friday at 18:00pm and Friday late evening I could not send an email from one of my identity in Thunderbird.

Was trying to analyze the mail.log, but nothing is logging, even the email that is going out.

app-admin/sysklogd - is installed and running and the mail-log should be going to /var/log/mail.log

/var/log/mail.log
only login information about starting "postfix"

Correction: /var/log/mail.log
logs, shows email that are being pulled in from provider (shaw.ca), going out from portage and apache, but not the one I'm sending out via Thunderbird.
I think Thunderbird is not using postfix, it has his own mail delivery system, am I correct?
If so where are the logs?

On email provider's server, obviously.
The one you're connecting to in order to send your emails. Check servers configured inside of your TB identity for the details.
If you're using an external provider, you're not supposed to proxy via your own postfix. Just point your TB directly to their smtp and imap servers.

The provider (shaw.ca) denied making any changes and was blaming/insisting it is my application Thunderbird.
My setting SMTP setting to forward email to provider was always "info@domain-name", but one of the additional identity in Thunderbird on the account was failing to send a message.
Changing the setting in SMTP to admin@domain-name solve the problem.
The provider must have tweek some changes on their end.

Is admin@domain the mailbox name and info@domain an alias to admin@domain?
Some mail systems will allow you to login with any alias, others will require you to use the primary mailbox name or username. Some ready to use mail systems even have a checkbox for alternating between those 2 behaviors.

info@domain is an alias to admin@domain but "admin@domain" is not.
